LynxTrac is a unified IT platform that replaces five stitched-together tools with one lightweight agent. Here is what it does and why we built it.

LynxTrac is the modern IT management platform we wanted to use ourselves. Today we’re making it available to every IT team that’s tired of stitching five vendors into something that approximates “running IT.”

What LynxTrac does

One agent per endpoint, one dashboard, one audit log:

  • Real-time monitoring. CPU, memory, disk, network, and application metrics — sub-second updates, no separate agents.
  • Browser SSH and remote desktop. No VPN, no port forwarding, no client installs. Works across NAT and strict firewalls.
  • Continuous deployments. Canary, blue-green, and rolling deployments with automatic rollback.
  • Log analysis. Live tail, pattern detection, smart alerting, and integrated ticketing.
  • Patch automation and scripting. Schedule updates and run scripts across your fleet, with before/after state captured.

Why we built it

Because the alternative is running RMM from one vendor, VPN from another, log analytics from a third, and a remote desktop tool that can’t decide if it’s a product or a protocol. The integration cost between those is where IT teams burn their headcount.

When access, monitoring, logs, and deployment share one identity and one timeline, everything downstream gets faster — diagnosis, fix, and post-mortem.
